Who we are and why we do this

Nonprofits deserve data that works as hard as they do. We help turn uncertainty into confidence, making data a powerful asset instead of a burden.

We're not your typical consultancy

We are a federally incorporated nonprofit and we reinvest revenue into tools and resources that benefit the entire sector. When you work with us, you're helping to build capacity beyond your own organization.

Why We Do This Work

Nonprofits collect a lot of information — but unlike other sectors, many organizations don't have the resources to turn that data into action. The result? Missed opportunities to improve programs, make smarter decisions, and show impact.

And in a sector where much of that data includes personal information, this isn't just about efficiency — it's about responsibility. Good data stewardship means collecting information with purpose and making sure it doesn't sit unused.

We tackle this challenge on two levels:

Support for Organizations

We work directly with nonprofits and charities that:

  • Don't have the internal resources to meet their data needs
  • Want to grow their capacity
  • Occasionally need extra people power for special projects

When we partner with organizations, we keep things simple and practical:

  • No minimum project size — because small projects matter too.
  • Discovery first — we start by listening and learning before recommending solutions.
  • Flexible engagement — choose project-based, fractional, or hourly support.
  • Software agnostic — we recommend what works for you, not what works for us.

Work With Us – Let's talk about how we can help your organization harness data.

Support for the Sector

Consulting alone won't build sector-wide data maturity. That's why we invest in public benefit initiatives—like the Nonprofit Data Network and CensusAggregator—and we're cooking up more tools to help the sector thrive.

Partner With Us – Funders and collaborators, join us in building sector-wide data capacity.
